Doctor of Medicine (MD.)  Tver State Medical Academy - Russia 

Obtained the Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Tver State Medical Academy in Tver, Russia in 2009, graduating with a strong academic performance. The programme provided extensive practical exposure and facilitated collaboration with professionals and peers from diverse cultural and international backgrounds. This experience enhanced clinical insight, cross-cultural communication, and professional competence, contributing significantly to ongoing career development in the healthcare field.

 

Certified in Special Needs Education

I hold a certification in Special Needs Education from "Vidupiyasa" Special Needs Educational and Inclusive Educational Training Institute, Colombo, Sri Lanka, with a specific focus on conditions such as Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Down syndrome, and related developmental disorders.

This programme provided comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in managing and supporting children with diverse needs. It established a strong foundation for delivering inclusive care, and guided my professional pathway towards effective treatment, rehabilitation, and person-centred support for individuals with developmental conditions.

It supports my goal of contributing effectively to New Zealand’s healthcare system through continuous learning, leadership development, and evidence-based practice. Developing key skills & competencies will be further accomplished as I develop skills like communication, problem solving, ability to adapt and being committed to delivering quality health services while ensuring the safety of patients.
